I'm Giovanni Cammisa, a computer engineer based in the province of Brescia, Italy, working with clients locally and remotely.
I've been doing IT consulting for companies and professionals since 2018: here's what I work on. Much of what I know I learned by taking apart and studying undocumented systems: firmware, apps, protocols. That's where this blog comes from.

Education
- MSc in Computer Engineering, University of Brescia, 2026, graduated 109/110. Thesis: reverse engineering Intel Wi-Fi firmware through driver analysis and binary patching.
- BSc in Information Engineering, University of Brescia, 2021. Thesis: implementation and validation of a reprogrammable emulator of NTAG21x, the NFC chips used in tags and badges.
Other
Since 2018 I've been part of muHack, the Brescia hackerspace: an open lab where people meet to work on computing and electronics projects. I wrote challenges for the CTF (a security competition) at the Italian Hacker Camp 2018 and gave talks at MuHackademy, muHack's seminar series, in 2018, 2019 and 2023.
